PECAN PIE

4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup corn syrup, light or dark
1 cup sugar
2 tbs *real* butter, melted (None of this margarine or low fat stuff)
1 tsp *real* vanilla (Makes a big difference)
1 1/2 c. pecans.
Additional Pecan halves can be very pretty on top.
1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla

2) Add pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell.

3) Bake in oven for 45 to 55 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the center and around the edges comes out clean.
